Orchidz Organizing does agree to the following obligations when serving all clients and customers:

CODE OF ETHICS

● I will serve my clients with integrity, competence, and objectivity, and will treat them with respect and courtesy.

● I will offer services in those areas in which I am qualified and will accurately represent those qualifications in both verbal and written communications.

● When unable or unqualified to fulfill requests for services, I will make every effort to recommend the services of other qualified professional organizers, productivity consultants and/or other qualified professionals.

● I will advertise my services in an honest manner and will represent the organizing and productivity profession accurately.

● I will keep confidential all client information, both business and personal, including that which may be revealed by other professional organizers and productivity consultants.

● I will use proprietary client information only with the client's permission.

● I will keep client information confidential and not use it to benefit myself or my firm, or reveal this information to others.

● I will decide independently and communicate to my client in advance my fees and expenses, and will charge fees and expenses which I deem reasonable, legitimate, and commensurate with my experience, the services I deliver, and the responsibility I accept.

● I will make recommendations for products and services with my client's best interests in mind.

Client Responsibilities

● Make prior necessary arrangements (sitter, rescheduling activities and other responsibilities, etc.) in order to limit disruptions during organizing sessions.

● Be on time for each scheduled appointment and prepared to work for the entire length of the session.

● Commit to implementing and maintaining agreed-upon recommended systems during the organizing process.

● Purchase the supplies necessary to complete the project, unless arrangements have been made with the organizer.

Project Completion & Follow-up

● Orchidz Organizing is responsible for establishing and implementing an organizational system catered to the client's’ specific needs, recommending techniques and products to address the client's concerns.

● After a project is completed, Orchidz Organizing will conduct a Follow-Up to determine if the organization system has been maintained and is working for the client. Orchidz Organizing will work with the client to make any necessary adjustments.

Project Outcomes & Process Ownership

● Establishing new organizing habits takes time; the client fully understands that the creation of lasting results may require multiple organizing sessions.

● Failure on the client's part to implement and maintain those systems recommended by Orchidz Organizing shall in no way be construed as incompetency, inadequate service, or a breach of contract on the part of Orchidz Organizing.

● Orchidz Organizing will consult with the client, provide advice and guidance, but the client is ultimately responsible for the final decision. The client accepts full responsibility for all decisions made during or outside the organizing session including, but not limited to: purging, sorting, organizing, and any consequences thereafter.

Appointments & Cancellations

● Orchidz Organizing will confirm scheduled consultations and organizing sessions 24hrs - 48 hrs prior to appointment.

● Proper consideration regarding cancellations and appointment changes is expected. Appointments canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time are subject to a $75 cancellation fee, which may be waived at the discretion of Orchidz Organizing.

● Failure to show up for a session will result in a charge for the full session. A client is considered a no-show 15 minutes after the agreed meeting time.

Purchasing Supplies & Other Services

● Orchidz Organizing will create a shopping list of products and supplies necessary for each session and, upon client request, purchase and deliver approved supplies to the client's location.

● Client agrees to reimburse Orchidz Organizing for all authorized expenses and shopping fees. Receipts for goods and services purchased will be provided at time of delivery and payment is expected at time of receipt or within time frame specified. Time will be billed at the hourly rate.

● Orchidz Organizing will make recommendations and/or arrangements for donations, trash removal, or shredding services.
