About Me

Hey!

It’s nice to finally meet you. I’m your organizer, Tina.

I was born and raised in Middle Tennessee and hold a BS in Business Management/Administration.  Forever a lover of purple, wine, books, animals, coffee, and all the music, not necessarily in that order. You can typically find me with one or more of these things at any given time.

Prior to organizing, my work was primarily in the medical and hospitality fields. And you can be assured that yours truly found that just about everything needed to be reorganized in order to function properly and smoothly!

Well, here we are.

One day, after re-organizing yet another office in the medical practice I worked in, I was at my desk talking to my favorite coworker who was standing in the doorway, and it was like a bomb had gone off in my brain. I felt my eyes widen and realized I could be organizing full time. Then and there I decided to get the ball rolling. It just made sense. I’d get distracted by messes or the improper utilization/waste of space and supplies constantly. The urge to organize and bring order was overwhelming and was often much stronger than the urge to sit and do paperwork all day.  I wasn’t exactly happy or much appreciated, was driving about 100 miles round-trip for work, and was so very under-stimulated. My full potential was not being utilized in that field. I had spent a lot of time feeling guilty and selfish for longing for all-around fulfillment while having so many responsibilities outside of work, but that day changed everything.

In addition to implementing and improving systems, organizing offices and supplies, and training and empowering employees/coworkers in previous careers, I’m a mother to 5, a wife, and a pet parent to 5 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 goats. All of this has required the utmost resourcefulness, efficiency, time-management, and creativity, to say the least. And if you were to have a conversation with them, my dear family members would most likely oh-so fondly reminisce about the times I’ve stopped in for a visit and ended up completely reorganizing their pantries, offices, kitchens, or laundry rooms.

What can I say? I’m a firm believer in “A place for everything and everything in its place.”

The most rewarding parts of being an organizer:

1.       Doing what I love, what I’m best at, what I’m passionate about, and am confident in.

2.       Seeing the joy and/or relief on the faces of clients when they see the finished project(s).

3.       Hearing clients speak of their new goals and freedom.

4.       Spending time working with and getting to know new humans that I adore and learning from them just as much       as they may learn from me!

Helping people step out of the seemingly endless rivers of “stuff” they’ve been wading through and teaching them how to stay out is just so gratifying. It’s amazing how getting uncluttered and organized can completely change someone’s life.

Much like life, getting organized isn’t always glamorous, but when we get fed up with our own nonsense and decide to make a change, we grow and make it that much better. We’ve got this.
